The zip file contains the files I used in this morning's session. There is a supporting information folder that includes the mixed air temperature calculation spreadsheet I used (also available on the Mixed Air Calculations tool page of the website), the spreadsheet with the ball room load calculation in it and the ASHRAE cooling load temperature differential (CLTD) tables in it, which can be used to do a manual, hour by hour load estimate.

The file to the left contains updated slides from the session yesterday that now includes the compressor heat rejection calculation, which I forgot to include in the answers yesterday.

The files to the left support the session I did yesterday. The PowerPoint slides have slides inserted with the answers to the exercise we did so you have that information.
The model I was using was a specialized version of the one that I have shared with the CERL team, primarily to allow me to flip between different gauge readings for the evaporator pump test. |

The spreadsheet file to the left is something we did not actually use but it may be helpful for you to organize an impromptu test like the pump test we did in the plant. I am sure we will talk about functional testing more at some point.

|
The spreadsheet file to the left is the spreadsheet that I developed and plotted the system curve with. The chart shows up in the answer slide, but this will give you the actual "math" if you want to look at that.

These are the slides from the office hours session and include answer slides. The slides I opened to show the stuff about gauge accuracy and wear rings are from the PEC
Pumps, Design, Performance and Commissioning issues class; the Pump Basics and Pump Curves modules specifically. |

These two files are the Le Conte AHU model if you want to play with it along with the spreadsheet that has the test data from the testing we did. The image to the left is my "four-in-one" tool that I used for the test, which you can purchase from Omega Engineering.

The file to the left contains the information you will need to do the exercise Chris assigned in class. I will go through the exercise in my session next week.

The top file to the left is the slides I used in class today along with the materials I uploaded on June 10th (above). The bottom file will give you some food for thought if you want to try the office hours challenge. We will discuss the answer tomorrow in the office hours session.
