The files in the zip file to the left are the presentations and models we will be using in class along with the Scene Guides associated with the models.  I will also post follow up information on this page after the class, so be sure to check back.
This link will take you to the description of the class which includes suggestions for preparing for it.

With regard to SketchUp, the easiest approach is to install the free SketchUp Viewer (which is different from free SketchUp) and you will find information about SketchUp Viewer along with the download link on the SketchUp Resources page of this web site.

If your machine will not support SketchUp Viewer, you will find downloads of legacy versions of SketchUp along with suggestions for determining which is the best one for you on the SketchUp Resources page.

The Sketchup Resources page also includes:
  • Guidelines and resources that address common questions that come up when installing one of the legacy versions,
  • Resources for learning the basics of navigating in SketchUp, which is all you need to be able to do if you want to work with the models in class, and
  • Resources to help you understand SketchUp Scenes, which are a feature that allows you to quickly navigate to a given location in a model via the Scene tabs.
Having said that, you will be just fine if you simply observe and interact with the instructors as they work with the models on the projection screen.  So don't let a lack of comfort or desire to work directly with SketchUp keep you from attending.

See you tomorrow.
