DAY 2 - OCTOBER 19, 2023
The .pdf file to the right contains the presentation I will used today. The .zip file has some supporting information you may want to reference. The files below are materials for some exercises we may work on, time permitting. |

FOLLOW UP
The files below are things I mentioned I would post after class. The .xlsx file is the spreadsheet we developed in class to look at how the capacity requirement for the electric preheat coil varied with outdoor air temperature. The .zip file has information on how purge works on an energy wheel and also has information about maintenance, cleaning, etc. for one of the more common manufacturer's in the industry.

FOLLOW UP
Here is the follow-up information I mentioned that I would post in the classes last week. Note that there are also some follow up files posted with the Day 2 materials above. Also note that I am still trying to find out how to get a parts diagram like the one I showed for Mitsubishi VRF equipment for Daikin VRF equipment. I will post that here when I get it so check back occasionally.
The files below are a number of different resources that illustrate and/or discuss retrofit options for radiant slabs.

These resources discuss different efficiency metrics used with heat pumps and refrigeration equipment like Integrated Part Load Value (IPLV) and Integrated Energy Efficiency Ration (IEER) including some discussion of their evolution.

The files below are the examples we developed in class.

Finally, I also shared a number of links to resources that I used or discussed.
are the links I shared in the chat.
