UC Path Center - 2020-03-27 Point Naming Tool Video

This video is intended to serve as an informal demonstration regarding how to use the Point Naming Tool.  The Point Naming Tool is intended to facilitate building point names using a consistent convention for the control work we are doing at UCOP- Path Center.   The spreadsheet can e downloaded from the link to the right.

The top file is a version of the manual that I believe is specific to our project because it has a submittal stamp that has a date that matches the project data and also I believe a contractor that matches the project contractor.  I made it by combining the scans Darryl uploaded, performing an OCR scan to convert the images to text, and then adding book marks for the major chapters and a lot of the major headings, especially in the chapters that pertain to the control system.
The second file is a later version of the manual that I pulled from the York website.  I have used it as a proxy for portions of the scanned manual that are not legible due to the resolution of the scan combined with how it handled the colors in the original.

This video is intended to serve as an informal field report of my observations with Darryl in the building last week while I was on site along with a number of other things I noticed either while preparing for the trip or subsequently as I reviewed my field notes.
